The Lyke's 40th Anniversary Celebration features great food, balloons and a book of current and former employee memories and reflections.

Doug Lyke passes away November 22.

 
 
Heatset printing press

2003

8-unit MAN Roland Rotoman N heatset press purchased. First “stacked” installation in North America.

Began the eighth addition, increasing total square feet to 244,000.


 

2004

Canon imageRUNNER 110 digital production system purchased for short-run needs.

Rotoman N Heatset press commissioned in April.


 
Dot Whacker

2006

Can now add sticky notes to outside of pieces with "Dot Whacker".

Enhanced sheetfed capabilities, added a Heidelberg 6/color Perfecting press.

The start of our "Lean" Journey -- seeking out waste, improving workflow.

Produced Guinness World Record "largest printed catalogue (standard edition)" -- 2,656 pages, 7.4 pounds & 2.875" thick.

Kodak Prinergy system adds automation to premedia workflow.

2007

Mueller Martini Bolero perfect binder adds PUR glue, layflat and book sawing capabilities.

Kodak InSite adds on-line proofing to Prinergy capabilities.

2008

Accepted into Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Green Tier Program.

Canon imagePRESS C6000 Full Color Digital Press adds a colorful option, along with personalization and variable data.

Awarded G7 Master Certification by IDEAlliance.

Received FSC & SFI Chain of Custody certificates.

Second manroland Rotoman N Heatset Press goes into production -- 5 units with sheeter.

Digital Storefront opens for business.

Passed NAPL Customer Service Competitive eKG.
